Sport n Safari wishes you a wonderful stay full of unforgettable experiences in our beautiful South Africa. Our Golf Tour is a one-of-a-kind tour full of surprises and exclusive locations. Memorable golf experiences are alternated with exciting game drives, moments of complete relaxation or on-site activities.

Day 1
Transfer – Nelspruit airport to Malelane
Lodge: 5 * lodge overlooking Kruger National Park
Distance : 1h transfer
On arrival at Nelspruit airport you will be welcomed by your experienced tour guide. He will take you on an one-hour drive to your first location, an amazing lodge, located within the boundary of the Kruger National Park, on the banks of the Crocodile river.
Depending on your arrival time, lunch will be waiting for you at the lodge. The rest of the afternoon is for you to relax or go on an afternoon/evening game drive into the Kruger.
Dinner will also be had at your lodge.

Day 2
Golf at Leopard Creek
Activity: 1st round at the exclusive Leopard Creek Golf Course
Distance: 20 minutes’ drive
We tee off this incredible tour on an incredible golf course. Extensive use of water features has been made and sightings of crocodile, hippo, antelope, buffalo and elephant are commonplace, on the course or in the Kruger Park bordering the course.
After breakfast at your lodge tee off time is around 10:00 and the day is spent playing on this PGA course. A lovely lunch will be waiting for you at the halfway house.
Leopard Creek has some amazing holes of which one is 505m long, 33 meters above the Crocodile River. There are always possible sightings of many animals including the big 5.

Day 3
Transfer – From Malelane to KRUGER
Lodge: All-inclusive safari lodge
Distance : 3 hours’ drive through Kruger Park
After breakfast, we drive into the Kruger National Park to your next destination, an all-inclusive safari lodge on a 12 000Ha private concession. On the way there you will already have many animal encounters.
The Lodge has an authentic bush style with stylishly decorated spacious bedrooms and outdoor showers.
You will stay at this magnificent lodge for 3 nights and enjoy playing golf combined with game drives and other possible safari activities. After lunch at the lodge its straight onto the open safari vehicle for your first game drive.

Day 4
Golf at Skukuza Golf course
Activity: 2nd round at a one of a kind golf course
Distance: 50 minutes’ drive
The Skukuza Golf Course is a magnificent 9-hole (18-tee) course completely surrounded by the Kruger National Park. Nowhere in the world can you play golf slap bang in the middle of “Big 5” country. Skukuza is an unfenced golf course so don’t be surprised to see any wild animals crossing the fairway.
The rich wildlife sanctuary surrounding the golf course is home to the Big Five, a huge variety of birds and countless animals, which all conspire to provide the visitor with a harmonious close-to-nature golfing experience.
Tee off is between 7 and 11. Early birds who want to do a morning game drive can do this and tee off at noon. An afternoon game drive is also available

Day 5
Game Drives
Activity: Morning n Afternoon game drives
Distance: Local
Early morning wakeup call from your ranger for the start of a full day’s game viewing. This lodge is situated on a private piece of land away from the hustle and bustle of the other tourists. What also makes this lodge incredible apart from the abundant and rich wild life, is that you have the Kruger to yourself early in the mornings and after dark.
Highly qualified senior guides will ensure safe, exciting and informative game drives.
In the late afternoon after a delicious high tea, you can enjoy an evening safari drive, winding down with sundowners, watching an African sunset and spotting nocturnal animals in the Park.

Day 6
Transfer – From Kruger To Legends
Lodge: Legend Golf & Safari Resort
Distance : 6h30 hours’ drive
The longest transfer of the tour today to your next destination but it is most definitely worth it.
There are a few different accommodation options available to choose from self-catering to all inclusive, depending on your budget. However, the lovely Entabeni Safari Conservancy, rightfully dubbed “The Place of the Mountain”, which is situated bordering the golf course is a great choice.
You will stay 3 nights either at this 22.000-hectare reserve that boasts 5 eco-systems or in the resort itself.

Day 7
Golf at the Legends Golf Course
Activity: 3rd round on the longest course in South Africa
Distance: Local
The Legends golf course is home to the unique “world-in-one” Signature Course where each of the 18 holes have been designed by a world golfing legend.
The 18-Hole Signature Golf Course, designed as a Championship golf course, is the longest golf course in South Africa, providing all golfers, irrespective of their handicap, the experience of a true African Challenge.

Day 8
Extreme 19th Hole
Activity: Morning helicopter flight to play the extreme 19-hole par 3 hole. Afternoon either play the Tribute golf course or partake in one of the many activities available
Distance: Local
The morning is filled with playing the world’s longest and highest Par 3 hole, providing every golfer with an unforgettable golfing experience. Accessible only by helicopter, the tee is situated atop Hanglip Mountain with a 361 meters shot to the green, located 400 breath-taking meters below the tee. There is nothing like it anywhere else in the world!
You will have a few options to choose from to do in the afternoon. Either playing the Tribute Course, a ten-hole Par-3 course that is designed to be played in approximately 2 hours. The course takes you on a journey as it is modeled on the best par 3 holes in the world, providing a stunning additional golf experience to the Championship 18-hole Signature Course.
Other things to do in the afternoon are either relaxing, the Legend wildlife and culture tour, game drives, bush walks, horse riding, Hot Air Balloon Safari, water Sports at Doorndraai Dam, massage in the spa or explore the beautiful African bushveld on a guided quad or mountain bike tour.

Day 9
From Legends to Pilanesberg
Lodge: Sun City
Distance : 3h30 hours’ drive
Activity: Extreme 19th if weather was too bad the previous day
After an 3,5 hours’ drive from Legends, you arrive at the world-famous Sun City Resort just outside the Pilanesberg National Park. Sun City is one of Africa’s premier vacation destinations and you will stay here for 4 nights, to play the two amazing world-renowned golf courses and enjoying one of the many activities in and around Sun City.

Day 10
Golf at Gary Player Golf Course
Activity: 4th round at the Gary Player golf course
Distance: Local
The Gary Player Country Club Golf Course, designed by Gary Player, is an 18-hole par-72 walking only championship course. It is built in an extinct volcanic crater and is one of the most prestigious golf courses on the African continent.
The strength of this golf course lies in the fact that it doesn’t favor any particular shot, and provides the same result whether playing the forward or intermediate tees. 8000 yards of golfing pleasure await each player with mesmerizing views at every turn.

Day 11
Sun City
Activity: Choose from a variety of different activities in and around Sun City
Distance: Local
Today you can choose one of the many activities you would want to do in and around the Sun City resort. Activities include valley of waves with many exhilarating rides like the Black Mamba, water sports, hot air balloon safari, culture experience, world’s fastest zip-line, mountain bike and quad trails, parasailing, water skiing, Segway tours and much more.

Day 12
Golf at Lost City Golf Course
Activity: 5th round at The Lost City golf course
Distance: Local
Gary Player was called upon again to extend his professional expertise by designing the wonderful Lost City Golf Course. Covered in the hardy Kikuyu grass, much like the Gary Player Country Club golf course at Sun City, the course offers undulating plains, expansive fairways, mountainous areas and small patches of desert.
This superlative golf course also offers players a distinctive region covered with a series of lakes that separate the 9th from the final hole. The 13th hole offers a green in the shape of the African continent, complete with a pond that is home to numerous Nile Crocodiles; adding to the true African appeal of this course.

Day 13
Transfer to or tambo airport FOR flight back home or extend tour
Activity : Back home today or contact Sport n Safari for possibly extending your stay in beautiful South Africa.
Time to say goodbye to wonderful South Africa and drive back to Johannesburg.
Prices for 2019 start from R60.000 per person and include all accommodations for 12 nights, all breakfasts, six lunches and 8 dinners. Guide fees and transport by bus is included as well as all activities as mentioned in the itinerary, with a total of 6 golf rounds and the extreme 19th hole. Flight tickets are NOT included, but can be arranged on request by Sport n Safari.
